SL55 seat problem

Hi New member here so my apologises but I need a bit of help.
Have just purchased 52 plate SL55. Everything on it is great but I cannot seem to get the lumbar / pulse seats to work. Drivers seat light doesn't come on so thinking might be a fuse issue but on checking also found the passenger seat not working despite the fact light does come on. Hav flipped out control switch and looks like there is a junction for air pipe to go on but it is missing. Not sure how to access under seat or trace where air pipes / electrics should go
Any help would be appreciated!

Does sound like a vacuum leak from under the seat, where it goes under the carpet. Quite common on these. If you do have to take the seat out, make sure you have the ignition key OUT when unplugging & plugging in connectors. Failing this could cause airbag deployment, or at least SRS warning light on.

As type49,, but as both seats are not working, I suspect that they are not turned on.

I had the same fault, the seats had never been activated from new.

You must get the car onto STAR and tell the engineer to activate them and not look for faults, or they will not do it and just tell you that you have a leak in one seat

I do say once again, ask him not to look for faults on the seats but go to the menu of the cars features and have them turned on first. It is not the contour seats, its the Comfort seats.
