I wonder if anyone can help me - I have just had the throttle bodies reconditioned on my car and they are still showing as having a fault. Does anyone out there have the wiring diagrams available - they would be doing me a great favour.

Otherwise could anyone point me in the right direction as to where I could find them.

Sunny weather with a laid up convertible V12 urgh!

Many thanks

Joe

Your Mercedes
E320 Coupe 95
It is probably the fault code/s need resetting at a dealer on the STAR machine.

Any messing with the throttle actuators will likely set the car into limp-home mode and put your check engine light on because of the ASR system.

It is all to do with a mismatch of movement of the throttle position and the throttle PEDAL position indicator. This will automatically set a fault code on cars equipped with ASR.

ASk the dealer to reset the ASR and explain why they went out of sync.

Perhaps a Merc specialist is best as long as they have the STAR facility.

Thanks David

I have followed your advice and had the car on a Star diagnosis computer.

The throttle bodies faults have now been cleared - the problem now lies witht the EFP control module.

The problem I now have is that Mercedes nor the specialist were not sure where it is located.

Can anyone out there help?

Many thanks
