Slipping into neutral at red traffic light

I wonder if someone might be able to advise on an issue that has now happened 4 times in the last couple of weeks (no problems in the two and a half years prior to this). When I am stationary at red traffic lights, my 2019 C220 AMG Automatic sometimes slips into neutral. I have been caught unawares each time due to the Start-stop system and as I depress the accelerator to move forward there is no response. I then have to restart the car. Is there a potential transmission issue or am I missing something really obvious?
