SLK 200 2001. WALTON on THAMES. Viewing assistance required

I live in Walton on Thames and I am about to purchase an SLK 200 2001
WHICH HAS NOT LEFT THE DRIVE FOR 15 MONTHS BUT HAS BEEN STARTED NOW AND AGAIN, (sorry for shouting )

Is there someone who could come with me to give it the once over before i part with my hard earned cash.

I will pay them for there time and experience as long as its not tooooo much

Why not get the car checked over by SS motors in Weybridge? Perhaps you and the seller could split the cost.

Use SS Motors

I would second that. They did an inspection report on a CL420 I bought a few years ago and were very thorough. My guess is that it will probably cost you about £100-150, but you should check with them. They are generally quite busy so you may have to wait a few days longer than you want, but better to be safe than in a hurry!

One thing though, remember that you are hoping not to find loads of faults, the inspection is primarily for your peace of mind. Some people seem to think that if there are very few problems why is the inspection bill so high - remember you are paying them for their time and expertise. The ideal oucome would be nothing to report!
