Can anyone suggest way to increase engine performance.I am considering pulley kit carlson/kleeman (any of you done it) is it worth the cost? for power gain.
Surely its cheaper, a lot less hassle and less of a problem to insure to simply swap for a faster SLK? Chipping is fair enough but to go to the expense of superchargers on a base model seems a bit OTT to me.
the 200 does hold its price so maybes you might be better off trying to source a 230 or 320. as it may work out cheaper if you really need the difference inperformance
I am now wondering why i have my car. I cant use the performance it has on the roads around me. and why i take it into the dales i tend to catch people up to quick....maybes you would like to buy it off me and give it a good home?
Hi guys i was thinking about pulley kit(not supercharger) supposed 205/210hp (15 ish more than 230 & not far behind 320)with torque comparable to std 230
Dont want to source another car as mine cost a few bob extra for designo paint etc & i have not seen another this colour
Just wandered if anyone out there had done it before i spend 1400 in the hope of keeping up with 2.0TDIs
Slinky hope you have factory sump guard Mine does a lot of work in dales/nthyorks & even more in the spanish wilderness
