SLK 200 R171 rough idle

Hi,
had poor performance with car over last week, rough idle poor fuel cons. I took MAF off today and sprayed with MAF Cleaner. performance is better not sluggish now but idle is still rough. Could the MAF be faulty, is there a test for this. and if faulty are the cheaper ones on ebay any good.

Star diagnostics is the only way to go to find out whats wrong, search or someone will suggest a MB specialist near you.

200K engine with rough idle all points to either split air hose under the air box or stretched timing chain but as has been said, STAR diagnosis test needed first.
