slk 230 heated rear screen

Hi have just purchased a slk 230 for the wife, the rear heated screen does not seem to work , the control switch lights up but the screen does not heat, i do know that the screen was replaced before i bought it due to previous owner overloading the boot and the screen getting broken when it was retracted to the boot. Any ideas on where to start to check that the power is reaching the screen, Regards Dave

Guess you should check the fuse? The put a meter across the supply to the heater elements

Yes as whitenemesis, start at the rear and measure the voltage on the screen
