Hi all,
New to the forum but have been an observer for years with a BClass 180 CDI and a 1998 SLK 230, the subject of my current conundrum!
Once again it would seem a faulty hard wired relay in the roof module making the indicators stay on after around half an hour or so , as well as the hazards.
Took module out after all the usual precautions and upon closer inspection find no dry joints, black marks and good contacts across the board.
Took some emery paper and rubbed gently contacts on the relays put back together again after cleaning module contacts and all seems well after just over an hour of usage!
Not holding up an awful lot of hope but you never know !
Any other suggestions welcome ?
Great forum, thanks in advance.
