Hi All, can someone point me to a diagram of the various fuse boxes on an SLK 280 please? I am trying to locate the fuse for the windscreen washers.
Many thanks

On my cars pop off the small end panel of the dashboard on the drivers side and there is a folded piece of paper in the fuse box there that lists all the fuse numbers

Go on the website Fuse Box Info. It gives much more detailed information than you get with the sheets supplied with your car.

Many thanks, but unfortunately someone has previously removed it.

Thanks peterws1957, what a great website this is. Unfortunately it only indicates a 40 amp fuse for the 'Wiper System' which feels right for the wiper motor etc but to heavy for the washers? but nothing further for the washers only. Any further inspiration would be appreciated?

I take it your washers are not working? If that's the case I would be guessing at the motor having given up the ghost. Apparently this is behind the inner front arch liner (don't know which side). I'd check this first.

Typically the washer bottle is in front of the front NS wheel arch, theoretically you can get at it by putting the wheels on full right lock then opening the access panel in the liner, but you may instead have to remove the front NS wheel and release the fron part of the liner!

I think the op is still after the fuse location/number for the wipers from another SLK owner !

Many thanks every one for your help. It was the washer pump which I wouldn't have found without your help, a new pump for £7:50, a couple of hours and a few blue words removing the inner panel!
