Slk 280

On the Parkers guide web site in the new SLK range there is a 280 listed. Does anyone know when this is going to be available?

I think that it may be a 3litre engine, just to add more confusion to the marque.

2996cc, 231hp 0-62.5 in 6.2 and 155mph, £31,000 on the road price for the "Basic" model plus probably £5k of extra's to get it nice....

Same hp as original 320-inline methinks in 93 before more stringent emissions rules ensued. 231?

3 litre.....another rumour was it was gonna be in the SL300 which is why it is a 280SLK (DONT ASK ME Y?)...but the 300SL aint gonna be for us uk peeps...
