SLK Cigarette Lighter

Hi

There is no power to my cigarette lighter on my 99 SLK when the ignition is not on. Is it possible to have it 'switched' to work on the accessories circut so that it permanently has power? I'd like to be able to leave low power stuff, like a gps receiver or pda on charge from time to time (hidden out of sight of course).

interesting - my "boot" mounted power socket was on all the time in my ML - I know because the only time I used the fridge it ran the battery flat overnight.

I'd quite like the power sockets to have an LED and the brains not to let the battery go below sensible%.
