Hi jib, I've had the door panel off my wife's car several times, bit difficult to write down, but if you PM me your mobile telephone number I will talk you through the process when I get home this afternoon - takes about five minutes ;)

Got it sorted thanks, easy when you know how, someone in tha past has had the panel off and the glued on section on the panel have come off so Ive glued them back on. Ive adjusted the window so it closes now with out the glass sitting on the roof rubber, two years ive wanted to fix this problem, blumin easy fix and well chuffed.

Good :D- it's a common fault and sometimes comes back after continued use.:(

Agreed once you "get inside" you can see just how cheaply made some of the components are :( - after doing mine for the second time I made a modified stop for the glass, touch wood that was 8 months ago and no problems;)

Heres another problem with this SLK, the interior light if set to the middle postion will never turn off, Ive always had to have the light in the off position, Ive looked at removing the switches on the door shuts but cant see how they remove.
