The panel on my SLK passenger side is coming away slightly on the corner.. Could anybody recommend the best way to re-apply it. I have thougt of using glue, but wouldn't be sure if it could melt it etc...

Thanks....

You need to locate your pedals too.

Glue seems a go idea to me but you may have to try different glues till you find one that sticks.

Try the Hot Glue idea, if you go to a decent hobbies shop or woodwork suppliers you can obtain hot melt glue with different setting times from 30 seconds to 3 or 4 minutes, they will advise which stick to use.

originally it would have been stuck with a contact adhesive (like evostik, applied lightly to both sides, left to become tacky, and then pressed together.) However, it may be difficult to reach behind the panel without unsticking it further, so I think that the Hot-Melt solution is probably a good idea to try first.
