Hi all
Hope this isn't gonna be off topic, but as far as I can tell, should be ok. Just want a bit of detail about a 2000 320 SLK please. I'm thinking of purchasing said car, it's allegedly full service history with 84k miles. What are they like to drive? (J Clarkson and other tossers of that ilk seem to slate them). Whats the main problem area's if any with these cars? Is the suspension different or better than the smaller ones, i.e. sport/stiffer? Does anyone have an idea how much for a AMG twin pipe back box.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

having owning a c320, you wont be wanting anymore power, beautiful power unit but it do like a drink, if you dont mind putting the fuel in then its the only one to have, you will not be upset with what you get back!!!!!

Clarkson drove the 171 not the 170 and his was the AMG 5.5 version so not the same car in any respect.

We have the 170 230k as mentioned, the underpinnings are 124 with different rated coils and shocks, personally I dont enjoy driving it I find it too harsh and unconfortable, the throttle is more on/off than progressive, its noisy and if you want to drive fast it then shows had bad a sport car it really is.

Its a cute car to look at and ok for posing around in but as a serious drivers car best buy a 911
