Hello,

I have the option to buy a SLK that I have known since its order date and is fully speced, however it has red/black interior would it be possible to change this to the beige or all black?

I realise that this is part of dash, seats, center console, door cards but just a thought to see if possible / what sort of price you would think?

thanks

you will need to ask the dealer. if it has been built then no chance, unless you source the trim as aftermarket, which will cost. dealers will do full Merc re-trims but it is not worth it.

red/black is designo trim so you would save around £1000 on the price if you are not too late to adjust the order.

You can change the colour to any colour you want.We change leather car interior for a living and the price can be anything between £350 - £475 depending whether you want it two tone or what colours you want the interior to be we use the origional leather paint

Everything is possible, but its not just the seats its effectively the whole interior. I suspect that the cost of the swap using new parts would be too much to consider, you could fall lucky and find the colour you want in a write off but that really would be lucky.

If you really dont like the red / black then I think you are looking at the wrong car, but since we chose a red / black interior for our SLK I think you should reconsider.
