Hi all,

I want to buy an ML320 as my slk although i love it is a bit impracticle with my dog ect ect. The age i am looking at is 1999-2001 and is there anything i should be looking out for. I have seen a 2000 one with 57000k on the clock for 6750 is that good? Also what does anyone think my slk is worth? blue with full leather 100000k on the clock with indi service history up until last year and then on by my brother in law ( a mechanic) any views will be appreciated.

Thanks
Ross :cool::cool:

The fuel economy is rediculous.

Get the newest model you can afford as the very early ones were terrible. The brakes are expensive as are spark plug changes.

Mine is a 2001 (pre-facelift). No electrical problems. No mechanical problems. No rattles or squeaks. NO RUST..! :p

Hi all,
Thanks for your replies. My commute is a 28 mile round journey so fuel is not to much of a problem, what is the mpg for the 320?

Thanks

Hello

If you can go for a facelifted one (indicators in mirrors and fogs) but will be more than 7k, I was advised this due to the build qualty getting beter when they facelifted them. However many people with early ones have no probs,

My ML350 has no problems with electrics, runs sweet, does 25mpg on a run @ 85, tiny tiny tiny tiny spec of rust under rear door handle (not even rust but a buble)

I would think the ML320 would do 25mpg on a run and high teens (18mpg) round town.

cheers
