They asked if the car had been 'jump started' recently. Not by me, but I imagine the garage who sold me the car may have as it was on their forecourt for over a year.
They said there were fault codes for too high and too low voltage to the battery.
They said they will fit a 'data logger' for a week and see what other faults come back.
garage said there were so many faults they didn't know which one/ones were causing the fault. All faults have now been cleared so the garage have said if the fault re appears to take the car in to be put back on STAR.
So far the the car has been fine
My SL had pages of fault codes when I bought it, so did Dans SL,,,once clear most never come back, I thought though that they may have read some of them

I'm sure they read through the codes but didn't want to replace sensors un nessessarily. I shall continue to drive the car and see if the problem re occurs.
I also noticed a fault code (haven't got the sheet in front me) for the heated rear screen which is now not working. I'll raise that with the garage and ask what it means?
