does anyone know if the standard glass wind deflector can be fitted to an slk (w171) that has got leather covered roll bars. someone said to me that they will not fit because with the bars being covered in leather they are fatter than the usual ones and cannot be fitted, i dont want to buy one to find out that it does not fit. mercedes main dealer said that they did not know, when i asked if they could try one and see they said that they did not have one in stock so i would have to order and purchase one before i could find out if it fitted or not! help
