I have a problem with my SLK roof which is not retracting.
Have taken it to the local Merc garage who said they had not seen a problem like this before.
They partially fixed the problem but it is now back to the same problem having lowered and raised the roof a few times.
They told me that it would take a days work to really sort it out but it might not be successful and a complete new roof unit might be needed.
No price given on replacing the roof and as the car is 41/2 years old with over 100k on the clock I am looking for a practical solution - if there is one.
