SLK Roof!

Hi out there. Anyone with experience of SLK roof problems? I have a 2003SLK 200K. My problem is the roof mechanism seems to stop as soon as the boot lid is up but before the roof disengages from the windscreen. If I close the boot lid and try and open the roof again it does seem to work most of the time, although sometimes it takes a few attempts. Anyone have any thoughts what the problem may be? Thanks

I do believe that the pump has a pressure adjuster and I will look it up later, it would appear to be a little low, hope that i am right
