SLK Tyres

Hi All,
Does anyone know which make and type of tyre would have been fitted to a 2002 SLK230 from new?
The ones I have may well be the originals as the car is very low mileage.
They are Dunlop SP Sport 2020 v rated.

Also has anyone fitted wider tyres to the standard 16" rims without any problems?

I don't think I want to go the AMG route as the 45 profile will be too noisy.

It was either dunlops or Pirelli P6000.

Look at the date on the tyre. It will tell you roughly if it matches the car's build date.
