SLK water bottle HELP

SLK water bottle HELP!!!!, My wife decided upon a MB 230 K MY 2000, nice car does what it should. One fault is the screen wash bottle, the light on the dash says empty so I fill it, turn the engine on and the light comes on again saying empty. Does anyone out there know why and what is wrong and how the hell I fix it as the wife is about to do one as she thinks I dont fill the bottle.

Not sure how you get to it on an SLK (its out in the open on C's and E's) but there should be a float in the bottle on a sensor and its probably sticking. Some percussive maintenance may fix it, but I suspect it really needs a strip and clean.

Used to have 190E. I experienced the same problem. I replaced the water bottle level sensor. Available from GSF (£10 'ish). Not sure but should the same.
