Slk wind deflector

Anybody know how well the wind deflector that folds out from behind the roll bar it's on a 2012 slk

It manually slots in between the fixed head roll bars and I think works pretty well. It's certainly windier without it. The mesh design means you can look through it when using the rear view mirror and I don't bother removing it when the top is up.

There is also a fold version with two flap things, not tried one with that though

There's a geezer on one of the Faceache SLK forums that make a perspex one which can be etched to carry your own design. I've not tried the fold out one on the basis that I just leave the standard one fitted in place....

I have that on our SLC250d works well. Our old SLK’s 2004 & 2010 had a loose mesh one fitted in place with press studs, that wasn’t as good.
