SLK with water retention

Its been raining a lot here in Manchester and Mrs C. claims that she can hear water slushing around when she drives our 97 SLK.

As I am a bit deaf I cant actually hear it. I have checked the drain holes in front of the windscreen, cleared the leaves and got the water out of their, however she claims its still doing it.

Any suggestions of other locations that might be blocked and holding water?

Thanks, but I tried that one and was assured this is not the case. Apparently woman can tell the difference between slushing petrol and slushing water

Had a boot seal leak on my wife's SLK, wasn't serious but there was some water under the spare wheel - might be worth checking
