Onthe SLK230 there are aluminium plates on the door thresholds with what look like small rubber pads on them. These are actually blank grommets which are fitted into holes in the plate. I seem to have lost one. I expected to be able to buy a packet of them, but the dealer says you have to buy the whole plate! It seems a bit of a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Anyone had experience with this?
