I have a 1997 SLK with non-mercedes 18" alloy wheels fitted. Does anyone know if I can get the MB centre caps from anywhere to fit the wheels? I believe the caps are around 73 / 74mm in diameter.

Apparently not.
Unless the hub size is identical to the merc ones (easy to check at a dealer' parts dept), you are looking at after market ones.
Often the alloy manufacturer does a range of centre caps with different marques on them to match the car they are fitted to. Have you tried an alloy wheel dealer?

I will check with Merc Dealer if they are the same hub size - otherwise will give the wheel suppliers a go.

Thanks
