It was a bit unfair to compare the two cars.

yes it was....but they have run out of ideas which is why that plato bloke was driving a bmw at an average of 90mph and then said he doesnt condone speeding......

and Tiff? what is that man all about? all he does is go sideways? he is the prescott of the tv motoring journo world. why do people keep employing him with his idiot voice.......

It is the same as when they compare 4x4s,none of the cars they test are worth anything when it comes to a real 4x4..

Tiff and Clarkson

What a pair of over-rated Tossers.

Motorbike hating Clarkson and his tiring anecdotes- Yawn,,, next !!

And Tiff "Everyman" Know-all e-dell.,

Lets see someone who actually drives proffessionally fronting these shows most could make a fine job of it.

VBH obviously can stay.

I think Tiff used to be a racing driver, was quite good in Formula Fords, but it was a long time ago. It explains the sideways driving.

tiff greatest claim to fame is being in F1 the same year as Nigel Mansell started....he managed to qualify in 1 race then went on to TV startdom around 8 years later.

so other managed not to qualify in a few races then went on to finish 2nd in the championship 3 times..win it once and take the world series in indy car too...oh and several millions pounds richer....

so we can safely assume that spending time going sideways isnt the best way to drive fast.....nor the most economical....and acutally isnt safe.....and it doesnt help the viewers see the car thru the tyre smoke......so it brings nothing for us and thats not suprising as he has done nothing with his life....unless you think being promoted to channle 5 tv prog called 5th gear when most cars are now coming with 6 and some have 7 it does seem he has managed to be behins again....loser.

Clarksons okay coz he dont take rubbish from the car manufacturers which is what they need.....but he does labour on under the assumption his witty quips are actually funny.....most arent but he does get a good one out now and again...

trouble with all drvivng programmes is they are not thought out...they just show a boring car or a dream car that most dont see......it needs a bit of thought and we would be back to consumer motoring mags again but they wont do it as they are too busy chasing ratings..........top gear Mag is ok.....

almost forgot......when mansell was invited back to donnington to drive a mondeo for Ford, they got tiff no use needles to do a drive too.....after mansell had passed him for the 2nd time that race and was running in 3rd catching the leaders he came accross a accident...so he moved to the right and was promptly driven into by one tiff hopelesscase rubbish steerer needlelll. and smashe mansell into the wall.....at the end of the race tiff the dump driver got some critism from everyone in the race....except mansell who was in the medical centre....

and worst of all Tiff likes BMW's....so he obvioulsy a bit dim too.

by the way...I have met the guy......and i hate him even more for knowing him...

Tiff was on the box tonight driving around in the snow. He was demonstrating all the three letter functions that nobody under stands.

It's strange how they saw the need to invent an ATN button. This seems to stop Tiff driving sideways. We will all be driving around with Anti Tiff Neddell buttons soon. Where's the fun in that?

I have an ANT button on my tv....its all of them that change the channels whenever i inadvertantly stumble across his stupid average driving and his ridiclious dramatic up and down voice the toffee nosed, silver spoon in his mouth born Timothy.
