Smart Car Servicing Indy in Essex?

Hi All,

I have a colleague at work who has a Smart 2-seater. She has asked me to post whether any of the Essex forum members know of an Independent who could service her car. Ideally within a 10 mile radius of Southend.

Why not try Motoraid in basildon, they have got some mixed reviews on here but i know they do Mercedes and Smart car servicing?

Motoraid is a great car service garage. I have been going there for years. They seem very fair price wise all the time in my opinion.

These guys know all there is to know about smarts. They also race them and will do tuning and styling upgrades as well as your usual servicing services.

Hi. Just had a PM about confirming my interest in the above company (can't reply presumably because ive not been a member long enough) I have no 'interest' in said company. It is around the corner from where I live and i had my BMW serviced by them and got chatting to the lady in reception whom I presumed was the owners wife/partner. At the time I was considering a more 'sensible' car as I had recently moved to london and didn't need a big car anymore. They very kindly offered a test drive of a car and realising I was a bit of a car guy told me all about their racing setup. Based on what I saw, clean, proffesional, smart car orientated looking outfit. And the service I received for my non smart car, i wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. As I mentioned I live around the corner and they always have a busy forecourt/entrance packed with Smarts of work waiting for them. That says a lot to me. I am only trying to be helpful to the initial poster. Perhaps i do seem a bit enthusiastic. FYI I didn't buy a smart despite the test drive as being over 6 foot and male I would have looked stupid and I like my creature comforts too much.

I live in Essex but when I had my smart I always went to "smartarse" in Wembley.

Anywhere that will let you sit in the workshop and let you watch while they work isn't hiding anything.
