hi everybody - i have a 2002 c240 elegance and the previous owner must have been a smoker as i can see a smoke stain on the fabric and on the sunroof - also the wife says she can detect a ciggie smell - can anybody recommend anything to remove the stain without damaging fabric and something to get rid of the smell ?

thanks in advance and happy motoring :-D

Take it to your local Car Valating Serivce and they should be able to suck the marks out with the shampooer machine :)

Nocotine is water soluble and comes out quite easy, the foam aerosols work well. Re smell leave the car when you can parked with the windows down for a few hours, it will go completely after a few weeks.
