Smoke with DPF filter ML 320 Cdi

Hello guys,
i wonder if is normal, when i want to accelerate, i see a small amount of black smoke emmiting from my exhaust???
I have DPF filter, and after 500km i have black exhaust tips. Is that normal? i see X5s, q7s around me and all with clean pipes.

I am worried if this can cause any problem in future....

Also i have Carlsson CD32 diesel power chip, but my friends with Brabus, AMG .... are OK.

You using supermarket or cheap diesel, try using one of the better known brands for a while and see if it makes any difference..

I would suspect the power chip, they are notorious for emitting black smoke.

I dont think that its problem with fuel. I use only Shell V-power Diesel.

You think that chip? I have friends and they are not experiencing same problem.

One more thing experienced today, i was "racing" after my friend and when i was leaving roundabout my car went to "limp home mode" propably. 80km/h was the max, acceleration was like a 40hp car. But there was no engine light etc.... when i restarted car everything was O.K.

Guys if i upgrade intake??
I would like ONLY to replace paper air filters with BMC/KN filters. Am i risking some damage??
