I don’t know when this happened but was wondering if this is an issue and would it cost much to repair?

it’s on the front tire of a mercedes Benz 68 plate 180d and is two bits of plastics have detached from one another.

Anyone know anything?

thanks

Body shop plastic welding if you have all the bits. I repaired mine with gutter tape , was a straight break 2 years ago and still ok. It was only a temporary fix that clearly worked ok .

Probably dropped it off a kerb when parking I'm guessing. Body shop will do a plastic weld on that easily enough, £100/£150 no more

As an example of costs.
I needed a front wheel arch liner (front half, as they're in 2 pieces on the w212).
eBay second hand and 10 years old - £49.99 plus postage
Brand new from MB Grangemouth (Forum Sponsor) £53 and I could collect from a local Arnold Clark.

Definitely contact MB Grangemouth and mention you are a forum member.

I bought the car literally 3 days ago from the bath dealership so I thought they would have repaired it before selling haha. I don’t see how in two days I could have caused that damage and I can’t think of a time when it could have been done. Do you reckon they will repair or for free?
