So My third forte into benz very happ now completely stock e55 amg so far given a good service ordered new belts and water pump and new thermostat in traffic it the temp pops up quick dont knowifthats normal but to be on safe side wheels going for refurbishment on monday plus new tyres then I get to drive him

Hello, welcome and congrats! Lovely cars the 211s and the M113 engine is lovely.

What does the engine temp move up to? These engines are overcooled generally so I wouldn’t think you have an issue.

Pops up just above 90 not to bad it's jus quick gonna fit new waterpump and thermostat as got new belts To fit also coolant change may help gonna run prestone coolant this helps had a few v8's I put this coolant in and runs cooler but over the moon with car

Just above 90 is fine. To give you an idea, my CL500 was fine to trog around downtown Florence in August for two hours looking for a parking space, with the temperature gauge not moving above 87..!

Yes probably is cars got 120k on clock so it's just me being me lol I have already done the service changed the oil 3 times just to make sure it's all clean can't wait for wheels to be done next week just to make it look even better

Nothing wrong with preventative maintenance. Now try an avoid all the blind and dumb morons on the roads who seem hell bent on crashing into nice cars.
