Hello everyone - i found this socket a few weeks back behind the n/s headlamp - what is it for??

Hi,
Has the car got A/C? as that looks like it could be for the reciever dryer, which on a C class is behind the N/S Headlight (SLK similar).

no A/C on this car - must be that then?
