Soft close boot , needs help to close

As per the pic , the 215s soft close boot lid stays proud unless i push it down , tried spraying the joints with PTFE but still the same , any ideas ??

After a few mins fettling the boot lid hinges ive managed to get the lid to shut with an acceptable shut line

Recently had this problem on my SL350, ended up with new part, if you force it then it damages the soft close mechanism

The soft close works fine pal , as in my piccy , its close to the rear screen that was sitting proud for sone reason?

Over time you end up with some play in the hinges.

My old W215 the boot would close nice and flush, but after a minute or so those corners would push up about 4 mm, I never did manage to adjust it to stay flush.

I bet folk without soft close dont have this issue pal

Probably not.
The issue was worse on the driven side.
