Hi all, found one of my main roof cylinders leaking, just wondering if I can get these to buy.
I'm going to do the rams myself. (plenty of time to get them done)

Has anyone contact details for a supplier,
Thank you.

Any hydraulic specialist should be able to help you out. They're standard seals AFAIK.

Kits are also available on eBay (example only - never used this seller)

Ideally you need nitrile seals as they're oil resistant.

Cheers mate, I have seen them on ebay, but was advised not to use them seals, as they don't last.
Ideally I would like to get the cup type seals.

I bought the top lock seals from these people too. Changed them two years ago and not had a problem.
Quite an easy job to do and a few good videos to help.
Just be careful with the hydraulic clips and connections as I think they are no longer available.
The hardest part was getting the circlip off the piston, quite strong. Someone suggested working inside a big clear freezer bag for this sort of job. Keeps all the bits in one place. I used a pillow case but.

Which rams? The main lifting ones, headrail latches, tonneau, etc?

Yes, the ones for lifting the roof frame, pretty heavy duty looking things

Just checked the car,
Part no 129 800 0272
It's the ram with the black plastic shroud on it.

I'd suggest only using MB sourced oil. It's ZH-M hydraulic fluid - part number 0009899103. If you must use aftermarket then Febi 02615.
