Sold my TVR and bought an SL350 R231

I am tickled pink with my SL. Totally different to the Chimaera but enjoyable nonetheless. Why are 2014’s sick YR14CYK. I am having great difficulty sourcing the correct wiper blades. i.e. the one with built in washer nozzles. I suspect MB will be very expensive. None of the normal suppliers seem to supply the ones with built in nozzles. Any ideas or MB the only source?

Welcome, a mate of mine had a TVR in the early 70's when I lived in Germany. I remember the suspension being rock hard but great fun out accelerating the MB's, I was young then! The SL's are much more refined.
Cant help you on the wiper blades, but MB Grangemouth give a discount if you mention the club.

Well with a 231 you should get fewer leaks and better NVH performance...

I think you have the Valeo wash wipe system. Not sure it is released beyond OEM parts sale.

Yes I have found out they are Valeo Silencio Aquablades around £100 from MB but no after market suppliers. My Chimaera was ultra reliable, very quick and smooth but noisy. Not a daily drive really but great fun. I had it for 12 years and sorry it had to go, wifey had difficulty getting in and out with the limited door opening and dicky knees. She loves the SL and so do I. Now to join the club and hope for drive outs when the dreaded C19 disappears.

The Valeo Wiper Blades (Set) for the SL350 part numbers are 572325 (Short code VA325) this is the RHD heated version (324 is the LHD heated version. Awaiting reply from Valeo to see who can supply them
