Is there any point in 2 door speakers when the door trim covers half of each speaker? Surely one speaker fully open & not covered in door trim would sound better? It makes you think it's all "bling" and not as good as it looks. (or not, as in this case)
A friend of mine bought a porsche 911 a few years a go.. it originally belonged to a famous footballer and it had a very expensive sound system, with the flip up dvd screen etc. fitted, he had been told around £4000 had been spent on the sound system...recently he went to trade it in to the local porsche dealer for a cayenne.. and he was trying to impress the salesman with the quality of the sound system.. whereupon the sales guy said do you have the original radio for the car, when he asked why, the guy told him that they would be returning the car to its original sound system.. as they had so much bother with retro fitted kits and it was near impossible to get anyone to sort the problems out.... so a moral there
