I had wierd electrical probs on C class turned out to be a failing alternator!!!

If theres a faint glow of a battery light with the engine running then thats the prob, other than that open the fuse box if wet get it dry because thats the problem.

Hi,
Is the engine turning over fast enough?
Have you got red/green LED's on the door/Rear view mirror?
Are the LED's flashing?
Have you tried the spare key?
I,m thinking you have immobiliser problems and the engine starting fault is unrelated to the other electrical problems you have mentioned.
I have cured my immobiliser problems 99% of the time by replacing the fob batteries. The fob may open the car but this does not mean the batteries are ok, as the alarm and locking are two different systems.
