I managed to reset my CD/radio and I didn't have the code so I eventually had to take it to a Sony Centre to see if they could sort it out, that was over a week ago, on a Wed I believe. They said they would phone me tomorrow (Thur)...well Thur came and went and so did Friday. I went round on Fri on the way home as every time I phoned, they promised that they would phone back...but guess what?

The gadge then said that they would need proof of purchase and I explained that I had bought the car with the thing fitted by **** and you can phone them if there is any problem. After this I phoned **** and they knew all about it so there should have been no problem.

It's now week later and I have heard nothing from the useless Graham Robertson Sony Centre in Bridge of Allan.

I think a trip to the trading standards people would speed things up.

At last, a phone call from the Sony centre.

"The remote will cost about forty quid and there are loads of codes (what a surprise), however, when I put it on the bench, it was dead".

"It must have blown up when I was crossing the road, cos it was working in the car when I took it out, you haven't upset any of your druid or amish customers have you? they have probably cursed your bench"

What I have learned from this is; never trust a man that claims to be able to fix radios when has a van with loads of ladders on the roof. :???:

Apparently he was doing the same thing with satellite tv.
