Sound after parking

Hi buddies,

Having driven, I am parking the car. Then I hear short sounds like 'chik-chik' with the interval of 2-3 seconds. That prolongs nearly for 20-30 seconds. Any clues... All replies appreciated...

I have 230TE 1991. I sometimes get this clicking noise when parked. I think it is coming from the antiLock brake module at the near side front.

Could it be just cooling down noises? My other car makes a regular ticking if it has been driven hard and is cooling down when parked. Almost sounds mechanical at times.

Yeah, sure it seems to be mechanical... Any different ideas...? Is it common problem??
