Has anybody tried the space saver golf clubs?

Are these an MB part or just an SLK option?

Will they affect my handicap?

its the bag not the bats. to get the 2 golf bags and bats in you slk you have to lay the bats in the boot then shove the two space saver folding batbags on top. and you cant put the roof down when you do. and you cant take your own bag trolley either so you will have to carry them and everyone will laff at you crumple bag with your bats sticking out the top too.

its the germans way of getting you to realise that golf is just a good walk spoilt.

in a footnote to the above. you can get a full size set and trolley in the passenger footwell/seat. but not a motorised trolley. so they did think about it.

ahem......racquets......bats.....clubs....sticks.....same thing......

actually was hoping it would get right up the nose of some toffynosed golfist

it is amusing seeing them say club house then, go and get me a club? and club the ball with it....no wonder they get dented balls.....

i was once, politley, escorted from a link by a very nice gentleman. a public foot path ran through it and i was walking down it. I stopped as I noticed this man preparing himself for a spot of ball bashing towards the pin. I really didnt want to put him off so we stopped about 50feet back and when he gestured to pass we said, no its okay. so he wiggled and waggle and to be honest i thought this bloke is looking rather professional, i shall no doubt be impressed with this shot.

i howled uncontainabley as he sliced the ball at about 72degress right away from the flag and never once did it achieve an altitude of more than 8 inches....it bounced and sped its way along straight into a tree. I was unable to stand. The female with me was in tears......and the man smashed his bats back into his bag and stomped off muttering.....so the grounds keeper asked me to move along in case he got offended by my hysterics....i am still laughing today about it...and it must have been 18 years ago.... Rawdon Golf Club if you know it.

i ached for days after.....in fact i have only laughed the same when i saw that helicopter pilot in another thread

Goufers are the easiest people in the world to wind up. I don't even have to try to acheive this. I'm currently going on the lunch time outing twice a week to the driving range.

The first day I turned up with my pencil bag and small assortment of sticks. I hadn't swung a stick in years so all eyes were on me at the range. I put down a ball and hit a perfect drive with my three stick. I wish I could have bottled that moment. Needless to say I couldn't do much after that.

I do keep reminding them that I have only played on two courses, my local one and some old course in St Andrews.

When I was a kid (13/14) my mates parents had a house in St Andrews which allows them access to playing the old course. So as it was the school holidays we were sent of to play golf and ended up on the Old Course, what a laugh!

The girl at the driving range was eyeing up my wood.

I have now bought a set of irons but i'll have to send them back as the 1, 2 and 3 are missing.

The office golfers insisted on examining my balls as they thought they would be to small, judging by the age of my sticks.

Luckily they are the correct size, however they did comment on the dimples.

Add them to my just patented variable length telescopic shaft and you dont need a bag at all, just large pockets (plenty of room for your balls...)

Ah ! Flat pack Inflateable balls !! Just......no, better not..

maybes they could invent a PC based golf game that you could have in your house...and while they are at it why not do the same with football. you just have a goal area, a bit of green grass like carpet and a PC screen projected behind to simulate a goalie thus leaving all the green areas of our beautiful countryside for us to enjoy..........

mind you the stuffy ones will still insist on going out and thinking they own the countryside and trample all over it dragging stick bags or encourage yobbish and loutish behaviour....................

Why not tow the golf trollies behind the car :D

Last time I picked up my bats, I went to a driving range and almost killed the poor guy in the booth next to me :( (a golf snob) I took my "oversized ,sledge hammer to crack a nut" bat to a poor unarmed ball, only to have it shoot straight up in to the rafters rattlle round in the lights for a bit then miss the guy in the next cubicle by an inch or so :D and then rolled off onto the range :D

The guy turn and glared at me asking what the F*** I had done !!!

I replied "If I knew that DO YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE F*ING DONE IT ON PURPOSE!!!"

I did it again with the very next ball and he left sharpish !! :D :D

(if you want to try this trick for yourself, just use a tee thats too high for the club head :D )
