I have been quoted £125 +VAT from a MB dealer for a spare key. Does anyone know of a 'friendly' MB dealer who I can order a spare key from, who doesn't rip us off, please?

Thanks

Bugger! I wonder what the Monopolies Commission (or whatever they are called these days), would say?

Wasn't there a range of Puntos that if you lost the 'special' red key it was about a grand??

Think that price is probably about right,

They are blanks for sale on flea bay but how you go about sorting the programming out I don't know

There is a certain USA ford where the guy forgot to record the Key info at the production line, if you lost the key you throw the car away

I don't think you can reprogramme the Ebay ones. I looked in to this when I needed a replacement key for my C200. All the advice at the time was to the effect that you have to pay the dealer price.

Probably well worth a ring round some dealers for quotes though - they may not all charge the same price.
