I drive a 1995 C280, and have usually used the OEm plugs, being Bosch. I recently tried to experiment with another product, the NGK triple electrode, and discussed in detail with the local NGK agent. The MB dealer refused to fit the plugs and reverted to the Bosch. I have since tried the Champion EON, as I am led to believe that it should last approximately 60 000 km, as opposed to the 20 000 for the Bosch. Performance seems normal and no change in performance or any other area. Has any one else out there got any feedback on the Champion EON s/plugs?

I ask as I am not sure if the change from Bosch to Champion would be detrimental, as I have checked with the Federal Mogul agent, and he assures me that if I fit the correct specification plug, there should be no problem. :?:

I switched from the OEM Bosch platinum to NGK Iridium. Can't say I've noticed any difference whatsoever. So, on the one hand, you shouldn't have a problem if the spec is right, on the other, why bother?
