I have just had a cd changer and head unit installed in my 300sl. The speakers in the dash dont really cope well. Does anyone have any advice in terms of what to go for in either directly replacing whats already there, or having holes cut into the doors to accomadate something there. any advice appreciated

thanks

Did you get anywhere with your speakers for your car? I have a 1989 300SL and want to put a better sound system in and wondered if you had any advice?

tell me about it

I've just bought four SONY 10cms 125W for mine. I ended up fitting the 3-way, and now have a pair of 2-ways, used for a week, waiting for a new home. They all just fit, and don't sound that bad. Cost me £35, yours for the same and I'll pick up the postage. PM if you are interested.

Sorry, that should have read £30 and I'll pick up the postage. Otherwise you might as well buy them for £35 just like I did.
