Speakers in 2016 E350D Cabriolet

I think the rear speakers in my 2016 E Class cab have blown, although it is only detectable on certain music played.

I've had a quick look on line to see if I can see how to replace them but have turned up with zero.

Anyone know if this is a straightforward job? and is it worth upgrading? Or would I have to do the whole HK system?

GeoffCapes have you got HK or std? The rears (in the back parcel shelf and rear seat sides) in mine do not do much at all in fact they are very underwhelming, the main power is from the doors.

I'm wondering if it's worth replacing the lot, as they're average at best. The HK system I had in my old Jag was excellent.

Swap the HK speakers for Morels. It will transform the sound!

Yes Alfie the Morels get very good write ups. I have HK in mine and have sort of just learnt to live with it over the years. Its OK, clear and sharp but hard sounding and as I say, the rear speakers really do begger all!
