Speakers

98 SLK I want to upgrade the door speakers does anyone know the diameter and magnet depth and what about the sips in the door panels when you take them off? also how do you get to the back speakers as I dont think I have any and what size are they?

I had my rear speakers out the other night. If yours are anything like mine you just need to prise the panel off from inside the car. The speakers sit in a plastic thing that angles them to throw the sound forward.

I would have a look to see if the plastic speaker holders are in there and then get the speakers to fit them.
