Do any forum member knows where is the speed signal to connect a Clarion NVS613 navigation.
I know there is a signal at the rear of the radio , is that signal good for the navigation unit :?: but I reid on an other forum that the speed signal on the w203 is transmitted on the CANBUS,
if that is correct , do I need to Buy a canbus converter. :?:

Thank in advace for your help :D

MB have a CAN interface for connecting non MB headunits to CAN cars - it seperates out the signals for speed, lights, reverse, ignition-on

I dont know the part number, the dealers should have it somewhere on their WIS systems I guess - I once saw a document about retrofitting a travelpilot to one of the MB's that listed the part number - perhaps they can search for retrofit and travelpilot and they may find it.

The ML doesnt have CAN, it has discrete signals on the A connector - pin 1 is the speed signal - reverse is on the C connector .
