Speedo Problem

Hi Guys,
wonder if anyone can help.
I have an intermittently working speedo on my '94 C220.
Sometimes its fine , sometimes it only registers when I get over 30mph, also (but less frequently) the rev counter doesn't register.
Any ideas ?
I guess any fix will involve removal of the steering wheel with attendant airbag complications ?

Hi

You could try removing the speedo & dissasemble it so you can get at the speedo needle & wipe it with an anti static cloth. We have had a few with this problem & has cured it.
