Speedometer always showing? E-Class W213 Premium Plus

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2017 Mercedes-Benz E220D, W213 , Premium Plus model. Meaning I have the upgraded wide screens. If you don’t know already, the screen gives you the option of three different types of themes, or instrument clusters you can say. There is progressive, sport, and standard. With these three individual instrument clusters/themes, you can customise each one to show what you want it to.

My question is, is there a setting on the car that allows you to show a speedometer constantly for example across the top where the time is? Or along the bottom where shows the speed in KMH.

reason being is, on the sport cluster, which in my opinion is the best, you can set it to show you a speedometer, but it’s this horrible square thing in the middle of the screen. so I’m wondering if there’s another way to set it so that you can see it all the time across the top or the bottom?

Perhaps now we’re out of the EU we won’t have to constantly show the KM/H figures. It ruins a nice display - in my SLK, I can’t have outside temp showing all the time because of the KH/H requirement.
On older MB’s in developer mode of star you could change it, not sure if you can with your dual screen setup.
