Something I have been wondering for a while now, how much did the Sportline option cost on the w124? Because of all the changes, I figure it couldn't have been a very cheap option for the car.

Another thing I was wondering about, is how many w124's got the Sportline treatment? Any clues?

The reason I am asking is because I have never seen another 230E Sportline like mine.
Surely the price of a 230E Sportline must have been closer to the 300E, or maybe more.
I'm not sure. The weekend I'll get my hands on a local magazine's test of the 230E back in 1992. Will see if they mention anything of the Sportline option.

I have a pricelist for Sportline Equipment in 1992. What exactly do you want to know the price off? There are various options, suspension package and or interior options in cloth or leather and what is available depends also on the body type.

Great that will really be good to have.
Well I would like to know the price of the full package.
My 230E has the whole package on it, suspension, Sportline black leather trim, wheels, interior and exterior decals.

Or were all the options separate? Or could you just get the whole package?

I assume you have the saloon? £4642.41 for the Sportline suspension and interior package in leather for the 200E to 300E-24 models. But, an asterisk says where Sportine suspension is fitted on the 230E and 260E models with option packages the dealer is to be refered to for pricing.

Leather steering wheel (390mm) and gearshift were an extra £166.25. Sport design upholstery, £181.11.
